Dad: “I’m a Dad. I tell dad jokes. They have punchlines (punch). They don’t have to be funny.”

Assuming commands are jokes will not get you “good dog” status.

Poor Doug was in danger of starving. A head that big needs a lot of food.

And on this date it will be noted that Doug finally gained an ounce!

Love Sophie’s eyes in the first panel, ok, in the second and third panel, too! Poor little Sophie, how can she ply her distraction techniques on Doug when she’s outside? :)

Doug needs to eat his fill, Sophie gets plenty.

Yikes! This hits closer to home than I care to admit.
