If our Siamese sees a deer in our front yard and the deer walks around to the side of the house, he’ll run into the other room to watch it from the side window. Our Tonk…not so smart. Once the deer disappears from sight, it doesn’t exist any more.
Maybe the march of a new regime all in strange blue uniforms. Maybe the dead rising from their graves. Could be that the monsters that babies and animals see are finally visible to adults. (The marks of the Fey are all around us. Few can see.)

Definitely our little dog. Barks at the wind. But then again, our big dog barks whenever she barks (at nothing) so who is smarter?

Their job is to protect us from any perceived intruder. The cats just hide.

Good guard instincts. The motto of Rikki Tikki Tavi “Run and find out.”

I love it when she’s running so fast that her back legs are near her ears…..
