We certainly have been in the Midwest, so much rain, and now it’s supposed to be cool in August. The hurricanes are chipping right in as well. The seasons seem confused.

What does the Farmer’s Almanac say about 4-part harmonies and early-onset cold fronts?

Wowsers! I’m sure that level of bird orchestration is a sign of something but I have no idea what. Better to just get out of town for a few days.

My end of the apartment building is a mere 12-feet from the beginning of the woods so I hear all the birds waking up in the morning. There’s a new one I’ve never heard before that sounds like Yoink Yoink! It’s close by, but i haven’t caught sight of it.

Eerie timing for this one Brian with the hurricane possibly hitting eastern NC next week. We’re at our Oak Island house now watching that sucker and planning our move based on the path and strength.

Looks like those squirrelly squirrels have some serious competition. Let the games begin! (Be safe, my neighbours to the South).
