Could be interesting when she meets the cats

“Auugh! Those eyes! Those eyes! The saccharine is crystalizing on me as I type!”

Sounds just like the Stella my daughter brought with her when she moved back home. Little chi mix that never shuts up barking at any noise she hears.

Poor little Stella…no worries, Annie will help her integrate…just look at her welcoming face in the 2nd panel.

Sort of looks like a chihuahua, with the head of a collie.

Our Duncan was terrified his first two days. He would be shaking as I opened the kennel door in the morning. On the third morning as I let him out of the kennel at the foot of our bed he walked out, looked around, started walloping on the rug snd playing. That was when he realized his forever home was a pretty good place to be.

And thus begins the animal hoarding years of Doug’s family.

I have to think that every time a dog gets re-homed, their anxiety gets worse.

Basset hound or Doxie??

I’ve never heard a dog make that sound.

Just like human anxiety, it seems dog anxiety runs in families. One gets it, and then you all have it.

I expect we have a little piddle machine.

OK… I read quite a few comics. I usually get several smiles and an occasional chuckle, but I laughed “out loud” for real when I read this!
