I would be interested in hearing more about this. Does it mean that in three short years, 2/3rds of the earths wildlife will die off? Or did they start counting, say, at 1820, and only 1/3rd of the wildlife that existed then will have a habitat in the year 2020? I’m sure that ‘headline’ quoted is misleading and is intended for shock value. But if anybody knows a link to this story, I would be interested in learning more.
Edit: OK, I took the trouble to look it up. The ‘start’ year is 1970, and the blame is on human activity (i.e. human expansion into wildlife habitat.) I don’t think dogs (or squirrels) need worry.
