Adopting is great. But be sure to take good care of them too. Far too many people stick the dog in the yard, sometimes chained up, and forget about them for the most part until feeding time. They need love and attention as much as they need food and water…..Otherwise they never get the chance to learn, grow and surprise you when you eventually find out that there’s so much more to dogs than most people realize. They aren’t dumb animals unless you raise them dumb.
