We used to see many trucks hauling chickens in little “tiger cages”. I haven’t seen anything like that in a long time. I always felt sorry for the poor things in those crates.

I don’t mind livestock farms, but I do wish that the animals had good lives during their short existence. Some are better than others.

For all the bleeding hearts – you have a choice. You can become a vegetarian and thusly stop supporting factory farms. If that is to big of a step you can go to certified free range chickens and eggs, and buy your beef and pork locally from a farmer that has a small operation rather than a factory farm. But don’t try to bully others who don’t have the economic means to chose these routes, factory farms have greatly lowered the price of eggs, dairy, and meat. Go to a story especially Costco and compare the prices between Organic and normal production items, you will be shocked at the differences.

Be grateful you’re a little higher on the food chain, and don’t live in Korea.
