If you don’t know what asparagus does to the odor of urine, never mind.

OK. Now your message is stringent and intrusive, but no one takes it for serious, Veggie-freak!

When I was at a urologist’s office once I asked why asparagus produces the odor change. I was told it’s a missing enzyme in the gut, similar in concept to the cause of lactose intolerance only with asparagus.

It is still good for us , I have heard . And hopefully we are the only ones smelling it when we wizz .

It’s how I taught my kids to eat asparagus. They thought the odor of their urine was really cool.

My girl dog lifts her leg and pees on trees, too. She is especially fond of very large, wide diameter trees. She doesn’t need to pee over anyone else’s pee because she is not competing for other girls. (Or so she told me.) She also eats all veggies.
