It must break a dog’s heart like this. “I was brought back to the shelter and I don’t know why.”

When we adopted Sophie at 18 months, we were her 3rd family. She’s 12 now, and we are her forever home.

I had to return a dog once. He was so vicious that he tried to attack my friend when she visited. He would go berserk when my husband left the house, jump on the door and cried and then turn to me show his teeth, and growl. I was so afraid of him. My husband would take him out at 5 AM hoping he would not run into anyone, if he did the dog would go after them. I cried for hours over having to return him. He was Tibetan Terrier, gorgeous but nuts. I found out the shelter put him to sleep after he did attack someone. So sad. So I adopted a senior cat

My little girl and I bonded the first time we met. Yes, that fast. However, she been promised to another and was sold. A week later she was returned. We rushed up, introduced our other dog to her and they got along. When my wife went to meet, they both rushed together. My girl looked at me to say “OK, let’s go home.”Ironically, the Breeder called when we got home. Seems the first person had changed their mind and decided they wanted her back. The breeder was quite happy to tell them “No.”
