Poor cat lady, a cat-astrophic event

It happens more so than not!

I knew a cat lady and she had about 40-50 cats but they had their own sheds, with food, litter boxes and donated blankets. She also had a sick husband who eventually died and then a fire destroyed her home. She was so devoted to these cats, she bought a trailer home and put it on her property so she could be with the cats and care for them……she’s gone now and the Humane Society, and friends took in the cats and adopted them all out…it’s a no kill society so none were destroyed.

How long does the cat lady expect to live with you?

What a cat-astrophe.

When I was a kid, I knew a cat-lady. She worked in the same office as my dad, and we sometimes went out to her big place to visit. I think the number of cats was somewhere around a whopping 100, and oh, there was one old collie dog, who was used to cats climbing all over her. I was endlessly fascinated, and preferred watching the animals interact, even over TV…

This is what I wanted! More pets, even if they are only here for one day! I didn’t expect so many, but it really is adorable. The dogs will be happy for the temporary company.

Now the cats have gone to the dogs.
