Happily, I am seeing lightning bugs this year.

My backyard was full of them last night. The humidity level was perfect for them.

How would he know without his phone….probably happened 300 miles away!

Pity. For Kenny’s sake, I wish they had been real fireflies.

Growing up they were in abundance…now occasionally I see a few.

Here in Maine we seem to have plenty ….. then again I’m out in the country ….. :)

You want to see fireflies, come to East Tennessee. There are a plethora of fireflies every night in my back yard.

I see a lot of them at dusk, but they disappear by midnight.
