They had richer parents.

Both are good breeds of dog.
If you’ve ever been run into by a golden and a lab, you’d know one major difference. Labs are built like bone tanks. Goldens are not.
They also let their fur grow out a little more.
Goldens seem to be a bit more needy. Both make excellent therapy dogs, but mine is a beagle. Go figure.
