My father used to build doll houses for the neighbourhood girls out of cardboard boxes. He used to paint them and make furniture out of popsicle sticks and matches.
As a parent, this is much needed reminder of how it’s the moments you spend with your kids that matter the most- not the things you take them to do, or the things you buy them. And sharing creativity is a quality that will forever come in handy!!

This piece is a tribute to special memories and special people… it’s never to late to let someone know that you care!

I think I will start making cork people. I have a bunch of champagne corks around because I am a hoarder.

My Daddy built a “golf course” in our back yard. He dug little holes and put little cans in them, all over the yard.
He made a golf “club” out of an iron pipe just the right size for me.
He was amazing.

Mine was when my students welcomed me back after I was in the hospital. They all signed the card.
