I’ve always enjoyed making desserts, but no one else ever wanted to be exposed to that much sugar, and I got fat being the only one to eat what I made (bread puddings, chocolate cakes, pralines), so I stopped. But I still make good pancakes and omelets. I do pretty well with okonomiyaki, and I’m best at hole in the walls, and grilled cheese and ham sandwiches. I like roasting my own coffee for making cold brew, and I did have a small ice cream maker for a while, which led to a pretty good gin tonic slushy.
