Dick Cheney: Well, sir, I certainly think you want to touch as many bases as possible... it's important that you underscore the considerable progress made by this administration, particularly in restoring trust in government and faith in the economy. Ford: Maybe I should give my acceptance speech again. Cheney: A proven winner - why not?
