Rev. Sloan: So anyway, I'm kind of the camp chaplain at Seabrook... Mike: Just like the old days, eh, Rev? Rev. Sloan: Yeah, except I just can't seem to get arrested anymore... Mike: Must be those white hairs. Rev. Sloan: Mike, did you see Joan and Ted Kennedy on the cover of "McCalls" last month? Mike: Uh-huh. Why? Rev. Sloan: I'm working on a theory: that's the opening gun. Teddy's going for it. Mike: He is? Rev. Sloan: A telling point: Joan gives her blessing to a campaign. But who asked? You think that was an accident? And who's going to say no to him? Carter offers only more of the same: Brown gives us nothing but shell games, and, in place of leadership, the G.O.P stands for cash prizes to homeowners! The way I see it, there's absolutely nothing in Ted's way. His time has finally come! Mike: Rev., aren't you forgetting Chappaquiddick? Rev. Sloan: Yes. Mike: hey, then maybe you're right!
