Voice: Whose turn is it to go get the mail? Zonker? Zonker: Look, can it wait until Spring? I'm really busy. Zonker: It's from the alumni fund... Mike: The alumni fund? What do they want? Zonker: "Dear future alumnus: as you near the middle of your junior year, no doubt you are already beginning to feel a sense of gratitude towards your college... Mike: We are? Zonker: "What can you possibly do to repay the college for the vistas it has broadened, the opportunities it has provided? Well, the alumni fund is one big way. Yes, your early gift will insure that today's sophomores will enjoy the same high standards of education in their junior year as you now do in yours." Mike: I don't believe this. Zonker: "It's up to you. The ball's in your court. Please give generously." Mike: I just don't believe it! I'm here on scholarship, for God's sake! Zonker: "P.S. For you convenience, your gift can be deducted from your scholarship." Mike: You got a lighter on you?
