Reagan: I understand that while I was upstairs napping, George here offered a delightful toast to Nancy and me... Well, if I may, I'd just like to return the compliment. It's been a long year, but through it all, George Will has been of invaluable service - as friend, as apologist, and now, as host. There are very few journalists who would feel it was their duty to help us meet the players in this town. Both Nancy and I are most grateful, and we hope, George, that you will honor us by accepting the post of transition team social director! Will: What? Oh, no, Governor, I couldn't! Reagan: Sure, you could. You've come this far. Man: Go for it, George!
