Ronald Reagan: Ray! Good to hear from you! How's everything over at labor? Ray: Just fine, Mr. President, I was calling to see if you could come to my "salute to Ray Donovan" dinner. Ronald: Gosh, Ray, I thought you'd already had that dinner... Ray: Yes, sir, but it was such a hit I decided to have another one tommorow night. Ronald: Tomorrow night? Darn the luck, I'm afraid I'm busy tomorrow. If only it were Wednesday... Ray: No sweat, sir. I'm having another one Wednesday. It's sort of a series. Ronald: A series of salutes? Ray: Yes, sir. A lot of people haven't been able to make the first two.
