Quayle/Feather: Ha, ha! Honey! Look at this! By most accounts, Pedro was an exquisitely carved doll, fairly glistening in his multi-colored coats of lacquer. Lovingly crafted by an Andean campesino, he was first placed in a local souvenir shop in 1973. There he languished, unsold, for 17 years. Nobody, it seemed, wanted an anatomically explicit gag doll. The one day, Pedro's luck changed....
