Duke: So how's the recession treating you, excellency? Terrorist leader: There's a recession? Duke Gee, that could be tough to arrange, excellency. Why exactly do you want to meet with Obama? Leader: I want to personally thank him for inspiring me to create a team of rivals! I reached out to my bitterest enemies--even those in exile--and offered them all the top ministry posts! I then invited them to the palace for a glittering public reception! Duke: Amazing. How'd that work out? Leader: Perfectly! After they'd assembled, I sealed off the room and had them all shot. Duke: Aha. So you gave the idea your own little twist. Leader: Right. But I credit Obama completely.

Heck, I know it’s just a comic. But I have to ask: How can even Duke stomach this monster?

AL Al, it’s the drugs. Duke’s mind is permanently kinked. If he felt any remorse, he’d probably mistake it for a LSD flashback.

I writing this about eight years later. First time I saw this. I’ve become an afficianado .POINT: this whole ploy is in Machiavelli’s Prince.
