Unfortunately it seems that for some students college is a way of life. And for colleges keeping them there is a way to make money. Most universities keep costs the same for the first four years. If you don’t graduate by then you pay the going rate.
It baffles the mind how the CIA interned Redfern (aren’t his parents Dems?) and then had the gall to call him back. I guess they finally checked Walden’s creds and now won’t allow him near any real work.
FredBassetfan, “Garry slandered 9/11 truth and then took story nowhere.” What are you talking about? Could someone please tell me? I don’t always get the US news, but this sounds like a whole chunk of information that I shouldn’t have missed.
As for Redfern, according to a reference in the comic strip, he was on a project working for Jack Havoc, about a year before, and handled it so incompetently that it crashed. And now for some reason Havoc wants nothing further to do with him.
Lastly, I find that there is a sour and bitter streak in the comments for today and yesterday. Be nice, kids, huh? My favourite expression (but I usually only suggest it when there is only one person involved) is “Think peaceful thoughts.” It’s hard to be bitter and sour if your mind is on peaceful.

So, that’s Walden’s gimmick - multiple freshman, sophomore, junior, senior years.

The five-letter word “money” has never been hyphenated in a comic.
Are you splitting the cost?
