Voice: Mr. Trump, can voters take you seriously if your signature issue is a conspiracy theory? Trump: Are you kidding me? Have you looked at the polls? Have you? Voters love me! Everywhere I go, people say, "Mr. Trump! Mr. Trump! Can I shake your hand?" Voice: How do you respond? Trump: I recoil. I'm germaphobic. But the love is incredible!

yeah, that Trump is a real card!

Wow, politics turned Palin into a media whore, so I guess running someone who already is one is only logical.

He counts on the unwashed masses for thier support . But not his.

I think he’s more fun than Pat Paulsen (sp) even if he doesn’t have the media support. Of course Alfred E. Newman looked good in 68. Every night Mitt prays, “Oh Lord, keep Donald’s mouth going”

Nemesys said, 1 day ago Bill, I think it’s Garry and his lemmings who are in need of a little psychoanalysis this morning. Methinks GT is living vicariously though the Donald today, and that’s the scariest thought I’ve had all week. Again, I wish you bliss.
I see you are still “bissfully” ignorant.

Ok, how about:
“Keeping up with the House Reps of Washington”?
Or,
“House of the Rising Taxes”?

I think presidential and vice presidential candidates should be required to show credible proof of a triple-digit I.Q.

WOW! The slightest reference to Trump or Palin brings out the lib trolls in quantity. Why do they bother?
florchi over 13 years ago
JosephBidenJr99: WOW! Methinks thou jumpeth to conclusions. I didn’t mention any particular candidate, past or present. FYI, I live in a closed primary state and can vote in only the Republican primaries. I am curious as to your definition of a “lib troll.” ? :-)

^Tax financed Primaries should be open to any registered voter. If the Parties want to be exclucive, they should pay for their own Primaries.

One can now scrub one’s feet without any of that oh-so-bothersome stretching or bending; THAT trumps Trump, six ways to Easter Sunday…

Pat Paulsen for President; he’s looking better and better, after the last few.
“If nominated, I will not run; if elected, I will not serve!” What’s not to like?

“I think presidential and vice presidential candidates should be required to show credible proof of a triple-digit I.Q. ”
But Florchi, of what use would that be? Look at just three of our past President’s; Nixon Carter and Clinton. Nixon had to have had a very high IQ to pull off all that he did during his public life (I do not have any idea what it was.) Carter: an Annapolis Grad (US Naval Academy) and a Nuclear Engineer, and Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar. Of the three, I would have to opine that Carter was the best man of them as far as morality goes, while the other two are mainly known as crooks and liars.
Personally, I would rather have a person of slightly above average intelligence with decent moral principals over an above average one with few to no moral principals.
But then, those we put in power should not be placed on pedestals (a la Kennedy, another apparently morally bankrupt person), but rather treated more like the CEO’s of a business are. If we started looking at our Presidents as the Chief Executive Officer of Company USA, we all might not be as disillusioned as we are when they prove to be only human.

Florchi: The def. of a “lib troll” is anyone expressing any disagreement with any part of the neo-con line of lies: i believe the comment under yours was actually intended for several of us above. It’s the common tactic of conservative trolls. :-) Cons have control issues, you see. note the current Nazi regime in WI for a pattern.

yuggib: Interesting comments.
Personally, I would rather have a person of slightly above average intelligence with decent moral principals over an above average one with few to no moral principals.
I was not suggesting a superior i.q. be required, just average intelligence. Generally speaking, half the population has an i.q. in the 90-109 range (considered average intelligence), with 110-119 being considered high average. So an i.q. of 100 would be “triple digits” and something in the high average range might be the preferred requirement. See more info. at http://iq-test.learninginfo.org/iq04.htm

A government is not a business and should never be run like one. The bottom line for a government is not profit, but the well-being of the governed. One of the reasons the country is so bleeeped is because finances are being put ahead of the people.
This is also why private health insurance is a bad idea. The rationale of the bottom line (money) is all wrong.

I’ve seen the polls. Boy is the GOP desperate, he’s not even going to run.
