Trump isn’t president material…he’s “President for life” material, and America doesn’t roll that way. He needs to go back to running short-lived airlines.
There’s also the possibility that they’ll think, “It’s rigged anyway so why bother” and just stay home. Hopefully, the rest will go to the polls November 28, like Trump said.
You know its rigged when you have busloads of illegals taken from polling place to polling place to vote for dead people still on the rolls, even after they voted under their own name. Curbside voting with ballots switched. No voter ID required, even though they need them to cash those welfare checks. We have districts where there are more votes cast than eligible voters living in those districts. Al Franken was elected to the US Senate because someone “found 500 votes”, all for him in the trunk of a car back in 2008. The Democrats have rigged more elections than most of the iignorant population has realized and the mainstream media ignores it (unless it happens to hear of a Republican doing something nefarious). As long as you a a mainstream media that is one arm of the Democrat party, corruption, election rigging and other evils will abound.
Having a choice between two sociopaths isn’t really a good thing. There’s the money grubbing one…… Oh, right. There’s the lying one, of course. Or the one who won’t shut v. the one who won’t talk without a paycheck, and can’t remember anything.
Hillary wants a no-fly zone over Syria so we can shoot down Russian warplanes. Russia has already deployed state-of-the-art anti-aircraft missile defenses there. Apparently her stupid war in Libya wasn’t enough, now she wants WW3. Trump considers this to be insane, for which he’s accused of having a “bromance” with Putin.
I have had it. Let’s shoot off all the nukes now and get it over with. The earth will recover fairly quickly without any human’s around. Nuclear weapons, unlike nuclear reactors, generate mostly short half life isotopes.
I just read an article recently that said that 10-15% of the population comprises sociopaths. They operate without empathy or conscience, which doesn’t mean that they don’t understand them (and use them to manipulate other people), only that they don’t feel them. What we refer to as a “healthy ego” in politicians — what it takes to run for office at all — may be much worse than that.
Riding my bicycle around the neighborhood yesterday, I saw 9 Trump yard signs and 2 Clinton yard signs. This is a low count for either side compared to past elections. Usually I’d see 30 to 50 signs in the same area.
I am not seeing many political signs this year. I did see one that said Trump/Putin. My only argument with that one is that the order should be reversed.
@Bob C. – please, go work an election. There are lots of temp jobs to work elections, and both parties send watchers so the process is viewed by bipartisan pairs of people. If you still feel the process is rigged after that, come talk to us and explain how.
@Technojunkie, do you honestly believe Trump wouldn’t start a war even stupider than any that Clinton might want? Someone will tell the man he has small hands and he’ll reach for the button. We saw it in the debates.
It is perfectly true that Little Donnie is the least qualified candidate to win a major party’s nomination in our country’s history—you would have to go back to the 1800’s to find whoever is in second place. It is also perfectly true that he is stupid, dishonest, and crazy. But my major objection to Trump is this: he is the world’s most boring pervert!
When it gets to the end it’s kind o f “well, that’s her all over” if you’re a Trump supporter – our newspaper leaves the first two panels off. I have to read them here later. Now the strip in the paper makes more sense.
And Hillary “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” Clinton doesn’t rant like a sociopath or “I didn’t do anything wrong” lies like a sociopath? She’s never made a buck that didn’t come from influence peddling after the age of 21.
“One is a clueless liar, and the other is a crook.”“How do you know he’s a clueless liar?”“He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and he contradicts things that even he knows to be true. Over and over again, knowing that constant repetition will work on gullible fools, no matter how unfounded his tales are.”“How do you know she’s a crook?”“The clueless liar said so. Over and over again. And so I believe him.”
Good to hear from some Trump supporters. Let’s hear from a few more: Ann Coulter: “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.”Sean Hannity: “Here you are, you’re a liberal, probably define peace as the absence of conflict. I define peace as the ability to defend yourself and blow your enemies into smithereens.” Glenn Beck: “I could give a flying crap about the political process … We’re an entertainment company.”Fox News Channel host Eric Bolling: “America was certainly safe between 2000 and 2008. I don’t remember any attacks on American soil during that period of time.”Bill O’Reilly: "I was wrong. I am not pleased about it at all: (about weapons of mass destruction not being found in Irag). David Duke, KKK: “voting for anyone besides Donald Trump “is really treason to your heritage.”Sarah Palin: “Mr. President, the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke.”Kellyanne Conway: "(Trump) actually built a lot of his business on the backs of the little guy” and has a history of “not paying contractors after [they have helped him] build something,” adding that “the little guys have suffered” because of Trump. Tony Schwartz, his former ghost writer, well, really not a supporter: “the millions of people who voted for him and believe that he represents their interests will learn what anyone who deals closely with him already knows—that he couldn’t care less about them.
Trudeau obviously a Hillary fanatic. Prepare to become the Socialized Republic of the States, as that his her platform [affordable college for all; affordable healthcare [what a joke already]; and an end to all the divisiveness [we all sit in a circle and sing Kum-Ba-Ya and love one another].
Trump is a textbook sociopath. Lack of empathy – ONLY cares about himself (this alone is disqualifying as he could care less about the people he’d be serving), uses projection constantly, can’t tolerate criticism, manipulative control freak, devious and scheming, demeaning and insulting to others, revengeful, paranoid… just to name a few. Only about 1% of the population are truly sociopaths, but Trump is unquestionably one of them. His ghostwriter for Art of the Deal, Tony Schwartz, who spent a ton of time with him, also came to this conclusion.
To equate Hillary in any way with this evil monster is simply ignorant, it’s the mother of all false equivalencies.
One more thing about sociopaths, they are deeply troubled and unhappy individuals who should be pitied, although it is very hard not to despise them. Plus there’s no known cure.
The extent to which the deplorables’ minds have been poisoned with fabricated conspiracies about Hillary by the likes of Rush, Breitbart, Fox et nauseum, is truly scary… as evidenced by several of these comments. UGH!!!!
I’m not sure if it’s sociopathy or not but something isn’t right there. In some respects he reminds me of an autistic lad I sued to know who sat with a ciggie in his mouth, surrounded by overflowing ashtrays, and screamed at his parents “How dare you say I smoke? I’ve told you I don’t smoke!” And it wasn’t that he was lying exactly – it was that to him, if he said a thing, it was so. And I can remember thinking like that myself – when I was six. Like a six-year-old, Trump doesn’t seem to know the difference between the inside of his head and the outside, or to really know that thinking before you speak is a thing, and he’s crazily insecure.
Trump is not a sociopath. Sociopaths are able to mimic the behaviours of reasonable people – Trump clearly does not have the capacity to do that. He appears to have a severe case of narcissistic disorder, which is just as bad. (For an idea of the difference – Mike Pence is a true sociopath.)
I have often appreciated this strip’s contemporary flavor, but the liberal bias is unpalatable. Killary Hillary Hellary is so in bed with the people who funded 9-11 that she is literally The Great Whore of Babylon, and if you really wanted someone to poke fun at, the wealth of hypocrisy that she presents is mind-staggering.
