She is the wind beneath his wings.

I hear a lot of talk about spending money to do things but I am not hearing much about income. Fame, or infamy, does not mean fortune.

JJ has a very high opinion of her own value.

On a sunny day you can get sunburned laying in the shadow she throws.

I suddenly remembered the movie, The Glass Castle by J. Walls based on her memoir. Her parents were much like Zeke and J.J. Her mother was even a mediocre artist convinced she was a genius. The movie even used her actually paintings to show how mediocre she was. The memoir/movie is encouraging as there were four children and they formed a team and went on to success despite their parents.

They’re both so “in the shadow” that they’ll never see the light…

Even tougher trying to live off your shadow.

On a side note: It was 50 years ago today that Mike met his new lab partner and future employer, Bernie. Bernie mentioned that many people thought him “crazy”. He then turned into a werewolf (chemical assistance) to demonstrate why some people held such beliefs.
