How could he pass up an opportunity to relive some old mistakes?
I told him day’s ago not to go on this trip down memory lane.
No bungi in pungi.
Reverse bunji in punji. Sticker wickets, that.
Man!! What a temptation to kick Phred’s @$$!!!
No worries. Punji sticks were banned in the early 1980s …
First, there are a few points I’d like to go over…? :D
As I returned across the lands I’ve known
I recognize the fields where I once played
Had to stop in my tracks for fear
Of walking on the mines I laid …
Talk about falling down a rabbit hole. Not sure if I will like where this is going.
I saw a video where Americans were touring Vietnam and one lady wanted to try going down a tunnel. She got stuck in the entrance. Took them awhile to get her out, LOL!
So was the Minie’ ball-which actually wasn’t a ball, atall.
I wonder how many old men this story arc triggered. I pray for the men and women on both sides of this horror show.
There must not be any rocks in Vietnam. All that dirt they moved and not a word or a sign of rock piles.
At least he didn’t step on a Bouncing Betty.
Here’s a flashlight…which I always carry around, even in broad daylight, in case this sort of thing happens.
A Viet Nam vet I used to email with recommended a book about tunnel rats. I got claustrophobic just reading it (but it was a very interesting read).
eeek! :(
Tell me again…why do we have Nukes?
B.D. is looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. Which in war is usually an express train.
I read an article few days ago that said U.S. department stores are having shortages because the clothes made in Vietnam are stuck on cargo ships!!
Maybe he’ll find another cache of Schlitz!
Good, finally going to get rid of that dumb helmet!!!
Yeah, they want it but don’t want to pay for it.
