Okay this part IS satisfying. Joan just.. .not remotely taking Jeremy’s crap, nor his treatment of Alice, who Joan not only knows (if not as closely as her husband) but gets has done nothing wrong nor actively tried to fleece people.

Is Jeremy really as broke ad he pretends to be, or is he just a moocher?

The whole deal sounds like an on-going soap opera if it wasn’t a Doonesbury comic strip.

Hopefully Lacey will still recognize Joanie.

Or will she think Joanie is Anastasia of Russia?

Just to recap; Jeremy had no one after (Lacey’s husband) his friend from the bird-watching group died. Lacey still finds him delusional, annoying, polite & helpful. Her memory doesn’t work, but her mind does. Give the old boy the 10k.

Doesn’t matter if “part” of the will is valid. The part that starts “being of sound mind and body” says you gotta throw out the whole thing.

Jeremy wouldn’t get a dime if he isn’t actually named as the houseboy, I wouldn’t think.
