I don’t know when this was first printed (can’t see that d@mn fine print!), but it pretty much describes the Middle East war today.

I remember when the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas of Bamiyan (about six months before 9/11.) I am not a superstitious person but I had thought that kind of deed would bring an ill wind to the region.
Let’s not get carried away, and offer sanctuary to the people who’s homes we accidently wiped out.
