I WOULD HAVE LEFT THEM IF THEY WERE THAT READY AND WAITING

I have a friend who was perpetually late. I would tell her that I would pick her up at 10:00…she’d still be in bed when I got there. So after awhile I got fed up and told her that I would be there at 10:00 and if she wasn’t ready I would leave her butt at home. She was ready and standing on the stoop! There after we didn’t have any problems.

What mom should have done was say “I’m ready to go” 15 minutes before they need to leave. That way, they can leave on time.

Hey, wait a second everybody! The family was all ready to leave, waiting for Mom (typical cartoon late). When she got there, it had been so long, bathroom trips were needed again.

Wonder if she always wears her apron to the movies? It wouldn’t surprise me somehow, but still.

Bet they’re going to see “Frozen” for the 30th time, or “The Lego Movie,” which is also on my agenda this weekend.

@Tammi, that’s a safe bet with those diverse ages (unless they are going to various screens).
