This is one of the biggest problems in America now. Dog owners who don’t train their dogs and let them yap incessantly, disturbing the peace of the neighborhood. Bark once to alert, then SHUT UP idiotic dog! Idiotic owners, more like.
2nd response to LancelotsLover1 – I do understand your problem with dogs that bark incessently. Call your local police and put in a complaint. Some neighbors left their dogs outside over a long 4th of July weekend with a big bowl of water and another bowl of food. These dogs were used to be inside, as well, so they barked and howled for 3 full days, ruining another neighbor’s barbecue. After the police arrived and heard them they issued a warning to the owners. Guess what? No more of that nonsense.
GinnySounds reasonable, except that in some real life jurisdictions, the police will come out, shoot the dog, and leave. The grand jury, famous for the ability to indict a ham sandwich, will take one look at the badge and no bill.

My home is safe from any miscreants that slam their car door, ring the doorbell, or knock.

People can’t even walk onto my porch or pull into my driveway without setting off my 4-legged alarm systems.

I have one of those alarm systems too. Very efficient. Just requires food and petting.
