Normal: I am a morning person! It just doesn't kick in until the afternoon!
My dad and I had the motto, “If the Lord wanted us to see the sunrise, He would have scheduled it later in the day!” He’s no longer living, but I still feel that way. Still a night owl.
When I was growing up, my mom struggled to get me up to go to school. After high school, I went in the Marine Corps. They had a system to get you up, but I still wasn’t fond of it. As soon as my enlistment was up, I got married and that duty passed on to my wife. In 2 weeks, I will be 76 years old and I still don’t deal well with getting up. The good part now is that I don’t have to except on rare occasions! So, basically, I have had the same attitude about getting up in the mornings as I always have!
