so, scan one of them twice to get the lower price and then hold onto the bag at the checkout until he comes back with a fifth bottle (yeah, I was a cashier at Winn-Dixie).
My main transportation is by public bus so when I go out I take everything I might need in a large shoulder/book/laptop bag. One day I went into a grocery store I’d never been in before to pick up a couple things I needed for dinner. When I entered the store I the greeter at the door stopped me and said I couldn’t take my bag in the store. Since I didn’t have a car that meant that I had to leave it at the customer service desk. Since the bag held several items that I considered personally important I asked for an identification tag so someone else couldn’t claim it and walk off with all my personal possessions, the greeter scoffed and asked why he should go to all that trouble. After I picked up the things I needed for dinner I reclaimed my bag and left the store, and I never returned, in fact I told my friends about the way the store had treated me and they all boycotted the store right along with me.

You have a choice. Leave them sit there, or go back and get one more.

Another choice would be to shake the soda and open it.

88 cents if you get 5 but if you get less they go up to over $2 each?!? Ridiculous
