Wow, Norman at least responds to commands.

Then be more specific.

Then again, we can think of it as setting a good example.

Good thing he didn’t say “beg”!

Nice of Wally to take Norman for a walk.

So if he says “Stay” he will never see Norman again unless he returns to this same spot.

Norman is essentially a sweet-natured guy. I hope that gets him through life, even in times like these.

The director of my last play would ask us a different question every night, one of which was, “If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be.” I said, “An eighth dachshund.” I took the last of our previous seven to the vet for final treatment (kidney failure) a year ago last month. When it developed that most of the cast named both a real animal and a mythological animal, I added, “A well-behaved dachshund.”

I wonder what he do if he said ‘heel’?
