I always liked this quote from Teddy Roosevelt, especially now: Theodore Roosevelt said that speaking out against criticism of the President “is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
On a Saturday afternoon, I was putting together a battery powered amplifier project from Radio Shack. Dad was laying on the couch watching. I had not yet soldered the connections, checking to see if I had it right. It naturally did not work. I had the battery connected and was touching each connection and comparing to the schematic. As I touched one, “OH, SAY CAN YOU SEE” began. I didn’t think it was appropriate to take my finger away until it was done. Then Dad said, “That was impressive.” It took only a minute longer to find my mistake and the amplifier worked great. (The AM radio station was playing a baseball game.)

All hail the flag of Pizza Hut (or Domino’s, Papa John’s, Cici’s, or any other major pizza chain that I may have neglected to mention)!

At least Ralph knows to honor his country. He won’t be out of practice when baseball resumes. :) Bless you, Kevin Fagan.

I’m so glad that he is patriotic, and knows to stand and salute/cover his heart when the National Anthem is played.

It looks like Patrick has the beginnings of his Dad’s “pot belly” physique – that tie is not hanging straight down!
