My one big doggie was cuddled up against me one night, and all of a sudden I felt her feet kicking into me, not quite like running, just kind of random. Then she let these three low growls, like I’ve NEVER heard from her before! I mean serious deep down throaty growls, but still kind of quiet. And then — then she lets out this one long high-pitched whimper!
I can only guess what exactly she was dreaming, but I started stroking her head and she settled down and slept without waking up — I’d LOVE to be inside her head sometimes!!!

Whenever any of my dogs do this, I just say, “It’s okay.” and they calm down immediately.
