At least, one of them is reading a BOOK! That doesn’t happen much anymore.

Go ahead and start the car, that should signal to them that it’s REALLY time to go!

Getting my wife and kids out the door was like herding cats.

Because “going” means “getting up”. . .I’m good at going, but the getting up to go is getting harder and harder. . .

With one old GF, I didn’t get out of my chair until she was at the door, purse in hand.

How true this is.

Mom once said, “It will be time to go pretty soon.” I took that to mean we had a few minutes to play before it was time to go. I was in BIG trouble.

My wife jokes that I’m never ready to go, always having to do one more thing to get ready. She never lets me forget the time I had to stop to wash the car before we left. Well, in my defense, it was dirty.

Cause they know Mom isn’t.

Just go Drabble and let them stay home.
