I thought Wally followed Ralph around for the trail of crumbs.
Wally instructs us in the three stages of dachshund motivation
It’s a natural attraction, she’s food producer.
Brown shadows with a tail;
Brown eyes watching every move;
And the plaintive wail, and the scratching,
Says it’s me that these dachshunds do love.
Move along, brown shadows, move along;
Suppertime will come, and you’ll be on your way;
But until there’s dog food in the pail,
I’ll have brown shadows with a tail.
