Why do I see this story arc and think of “The Terminator” movies with their self aware AI “Skynet”? ;D

My husband used to argue with Alexa all of the time. They were like an old married couple. Since we got the Google system, he gets along with “Hey, Google” much more and rarely has to yell at her.

“That silly robot is going to learn to respect me or else!”

I cussed at google on my phone for butting in and she said “I’m sorry you feel that way,”

Outside to the woodshed…

It’s best to never argue with a machine!! The machine will always win!!

The other day Drabble was trying to get a compliment from Alexa. I told my wife about it, and she spoke into her new fitbit…“Alexa, pay me a compliment”. It told her, “You’re so swell surfers ride in your wake.”

Reminds me of Chewbacca roaring at the poor little floor droid on the Death Star.

Strange that Alexa is addressed by name, but the Roomba is given a generic name. Wonder what kind of legal constraints there are on this comic?
