Who are you kidding Ralph. You’ll hit the donut shop before the gym. Then again after leaving the gym.

Why do they do this? How often a donut or ice cream shop opens next to a gym or diet center of some kind? Or on the front page of a woman’s magazine is the headline “Get in shape for summer!” right next to “15 great brownie recipes!”

How much exercise does it take to burn off a donut?To burn this off, you will need to run more than 1 hour, ride more than 2 hours on a bike or dance almost 7 hours! A delicious chocolate donut can be eliminated in 54 minutes walking, 30 minutes running or 24 minutes riding a bike.

There is a hole in your logic.

I used to belong to Planet Fitness. They had a bowl of mini Tootsie rolls on the desk plus once a week pizza night & bagels with the works- you got to choose what to put on it.

I love the donut flag.

My wife’s fitbit has been recalibrated to doughnuts.

Good location for both!

For years I belonged to a 24-hour gym that was located next door to a 24-hour bakery. I didn’t lose any weight, but I did help prop up the two local businesses for a while.

The best gym in my town (it’s operated in conjunction with the hospital and even has a pool for handicapped members) has this. When the facility was built there was nothing around it. It sat a ways back from the road with a winding driveway. Since then a few-not really strip malls, but close enough-have opened on the main road in front of it. The entrance to Dunkin Donuts is in the beginning of what used to be ONLY the driveway.

For every donut he eats, he will need to walk 10,000 steps. There are about 5 miles in 10,000 steps. The math isn’t that hard.
