Why does he still bother with Wendy? She’s just a nasty piece of works.

At least Echo has better manners.

Technology is turning us all into zombies.

Just waiting for the moment she realizes she will be spending the rest of her life alone because of the way she acts…

I remember learning, many years ago, that Sparky Schulz once met Kevin Fagan and told him he liked Drabble. I have only recently begun to read it, and I see why Sparky did: Drabble is really, really well written. Cheers, Mr. Fagan!

Move on to Echo

It could be a moment for Norman. At least she didn’t insult him. Not out loud, anyway.

Wendy in the streets would be called a gutter snipe.

Text her, Norman, and you’ll get a welcome.

Who dates a woman that has a pet Badger.

Lending, not loaning.

I’m even surprised she did that.

Dumping the first love is the hardest!

Where is Echo when Norm needs her? She loves him, so lets see THAT arc.

Wendy is not all bad. See King Lear. She just isn’t good at small talk. She is smart. Echo is not smart. Norm looks up to Wendy. Kinda like JOE and JILL. JOE knows he married above his own level. He acknowledges that frequently.
