Norman was born too late. He would have gotten all the “Participant” and “Everyone’s a Winner” trophies SJW’s like to hand out so no one will get their feelings hurt. :P :P :P
I like the idea of giving something like a t-shirt or certificate to commemorate the fact that kids participated in a sport…similar to kids getting t-shirts for going to camp. It’s something that gets kids outside and active, and away from TVs, phones, video games, social media, etc., and a t-shirt is a nice way to remember the experience. But trophies, medals, and ribbons should be reserved for winning or placing in a competition. Having said that, let’s stop the back-and-forth insults and name-calling regarding the subject. That gets us nowhere.

Marry her, Norm. That way, you’ll have a trophy wife.

How many of them are participation trophies?

My fav “winner” is featured in Bobby Bear’s song, I Guess That Makes Me a Winner.
As Dan Rather’s wife said to him (when he apparently got too big fer his britches), " Just remember, Dan: 5 billion Chinese don’t even know you name."
What are the 37 trophies for? And how many tens of people know who you are. . .uh. . .what’s her name again?

I’ve won 3 trophies…2 for the bike I had in the 70s and the other one, well, it was for my tan.

What bothers me is that she counted them and remembers how many.
