Yes, just pull it out and be done with it!!

That cat will not let that go!

This is a job for an untwisted wire hanger.

Just take apart a wire hanger and use it to thread the string through.

That drawstring is halfway there but it’s livin’ on a prayer.

This is where a crochet hook comes in handy. You slide it in and grab the end and pull it out. If that doesn’t work, pull it out all the way and tie the end around the crochet hook, pull it back through and that’ll do it. Better get to it since it looks like the cat has plans for that string. They can’t resist things that flop around, they have to chase them!

I’m just waiting to see what happens when Oogie finally pounces on the drawstring!

I’m surprised the cat hasn’t taken hold of it and pulled it all the way out. . .ours certainly would. . .

I’ve used different methods to get the errant string back through the hole.

Attach a large safety pin to one end and draw it through, then pin both ends together while the pants aren’t worn.

That happened to me so I wear suspenders after I lose the string.
