Oh yeah, the good old days when girls stared at their phones waiting for their boyfriends to call.

A sad commentary on the loneliness of aging after your friends have passed.

That was the most exquisite, painful torture known to humans back in the day!

I have a land line for a couple of reasons. I like having a wired connection to the world and I use the number heavily to get all the useless calls instead of crowding up my cell phone.

I wonder if he used the phone’s GPS to go over to Grandmother’s home?

That’s funny. I’m 77 and keep my phone off most of the time! I don’t have a landline. It’s so peaceful that way!

Give me her number and I’ll call her. We all need a good chat now and then with somebody not related.

I’m guessing she talks the ears off telemarketers.
