There you go, SCPMAN, our tax dollars at work. Can you imagine how many employees in Obama’s healthcare bureaucracy will be paid with taxpayer dollars? I just love our fearless leader! He’s all about jobs!
Creating jobs is easy. This cartoon shows one way. Digging holes and filling them in again is another. Governments are good at this sort of thing, if good is the word for it.
But increasing a nation’s productivity and improving our standard of living, that’s hard. That’s why the economy should never be put in the hands of politicians and bureaucrats. And it’s why when the market hits a snag, the answer is not to tax everyone even more to keep the failures running.
Steve, Pierre, and Nicole: I can understand why someone would want a break from the problems of the world. But the world is still there, waiting to pounce. Sorry if I disturbed your day, but we each have our ways of getting through it.
Maybe this will help:
A man runs into a butcher shop and says, “Quick, give me a pound of kiddlies!” The butcher says, “Don’t you mean kidneys?” The man says, “That’s what I said, diddle I?”
pschearer - Though I agree with you totally. This is not the forum for it. There are numerous political chats for that stuff. The problem with them is that people tend to only read what they agree with, they never want to hear the other viewpoint. Oh, there I go…. Sorry

Wow. No offense, but these comments aren’t very funny. I read comics (and comments) for laughs, not political critiques. Lighten up guys.

Biden promised Green jobs (“…Three letters: j-o-b-s”).
All I see in this ‘toon are Orange Jobs.
