My mom got tired of trying to figure out which remote was which, so she labeled them. I looked at them and thought – Duh – of course!! Why is the simple, logical solution the one that often eludes us?

The one thing to remember about universal remotes is they aint universal…

EGGS Actly! And the BluRay player can’t be universally programmed into the universal remote. I think I need to go back to university and take a class……

Yeah, my dad was 96 when he passed away a couple years ago. Still able quite well actually, to live in his own home unassisted, but every now and then he would call me about his remote. Once it was just as simple as changing the batteries. He thought his set was broken. Good thing we lived close by, he would have been lost without the tv.
