Sounds more like you’ll be needing new batteries.

May I suggest hitting the “Channel Guide” page? It might save you some time and effort. Plus, you can page down about 10 or so shows per page.

They already coordinate the ads, so all channels run them at the same time.

I looked up how many minutes of commercials are on some programs

One program had 30 min of ads and 30 min of actual program and the other was 36 min of show and the rest ads.

It’s bad enough we even have to pay but in the beginning cable was supposed to be ad free…TALK ABOUT GREED! Sickening!

“Blipverts” – so fast there’s no time to change the channel to skip the ad!

my folks had the dish with 100s of channels, and it was amazing how with all those channels, oftentimes there was nothing to watch!

Then you’d have nothing but commercials.

This is genuinely becoming a problem for humans. We grow up with tablets and other media constantly available, so we never learn to be patient, or observant, or introspective, because we expect to be constantly entertained or at least occupied at all times. The resultant adults wind up with problems focusing, and rather entitled attitudes.
