Well…Happy Anniversary everyone! It was exactly a year ago today that Emmy Lou launched on GoComics.com. During the last year we had a few typos, a grammar problem here and there and a few stupid ideas like the Beiber deal. I’d like to thank you all for sticking with us and lending your ideas and thoughts. Much appreciated. Gocomics picked us up for another year and that’s all due to you guys. Also…I’d like to thank Mary Ann Casler who has worked with me to scan, upload and get the cartoons ready every month. Trust me…there’s no big money here for her, only the love for Emmy Lou and the desire to see good clean fun for kids and you too.
This next year we’re working on some fun Emmy Lou projects which we’ll keep you posted on. One of those is Kid’s financial literacy. Emmy Lou and Alvin mentoring kids to save at an early age for 2nd level education whether that’s a 4 year college, trade school, art school, beauty school, etc. Giving kids a realistic goal for their future and part of that is saving. Emmy Lou and Alvin…making saving fun! I like it!!
