For the benefit of newcomers (welcome!) here’s the pitch: The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover (http://tinyurl.com/3uytdhy), it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, email me for my snailmail. And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-)
Aaron, I know that one of the other waitresses is a goose or duck; but what species is the other one? I am thinking she is possibly a ferret or weasel.
Thanks, everyone. I could have said that Mallard was Endtown’s resident World-class genius, but he already knows that. No point in stating the obvious.
FYI, just been to the Wikipedia entry for Endtown. Great start. I just did my little bit to contribute, by tweaking some of the language. I’m a tech writer by profession, so just applied some good tech writing principles, and updated a piece or two of information. Nothing earth-shattering. -Dw
Great job on the Wiki! TSOJ, thank you for your effort and time. Really great job! If you guys haven’t checked out the paper craft files page yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a fun page and there are lots of great links. It served well in giving me my Endtown “fix” over the weekend!http://tsoj.manga.org/endtown/@Summer TaylorI couldn’t agree more!
Playing with fire? Are they talking about if Wally gets Schism syndrome and Cats out on her? Then Holly really better try to not let him catch her this time!!!!
I just added information to the Wikipedia page about the “Albert” and “The Daily Grind” strips. I didn’t mention “The Daycare”, though, because even though Gustine appears in it as an employee of the daycare, I wasn’t sure what its relationship is to Endtown. I’m assuming it’s not canon because it has a talking hamster and Aaron Marx, though those could be attributed to a little girl’s imagination. BTW, the Aaron Marx strip has apparently disappeared; the link leads to a Page Not Found.
There are two things that cannot be retrieved, the once flung arrow and the spoken word…which makes you feel like an idiot. I wonder how Wally’s day is going to be?
@Aaron NeatheryAt least Holly’s two female companions are actually female (cf. the movie “Some Like It Hot”).Holly went from a somewhat defensive expression in Panel 2 to a rather mischievous one in Panel 3. You’ve done extraordinarily well evoking feeling with Holly’s face, perhaps more than any other character in the story.I am pleased at the idea that we’re not done with these two yet. And our shared fondness for Roger Whittaker — I remember when he first hit the airwaves — inspired me to sign up and contribute something here. Some music coming your way in a moment: Endtown in the Morning.Best wishes!=|====/ Level Head

Poor Holly. A victim of her own sense of humor.

It looks like the other waitresses know its about time Holly found someone. Besides, I like the look on Wally’s face as their saying goodbye!

Yes, and a young cat, at that! ;-)But I guess Holly can’t exactly be a “cougar”!Oh, and I notice Holly’s tail is back to being ‘kinky’! Gotta love it!

Great job on the wiki link everyone! :)
Love the fact that Wally and Holly did not hide their affection for each other from other people! Awesome!

You know how much I like this comic. I like this comic so much that I not only read the strip itself but the comments about it also. :))
