Clearly things are not ducky in at least one of the other communities. I think that panel was a comlink between the other underground communities, New Persia and Albion West sound like city names. Perhaps Jacob Jackrabbit’s movement is more wide spread than Endtown.
Although the timing would be appropriate that the problem would be related with the uprising Jacob might be trying to start. However, for all we know, the Topsiders could have found that town. If any of the underground communities are found by topsiders, with all the weaponry that they have it’d be a quick genocide. Anything like that would be enough to give even more fuel to Jacob’s cause.
Check out the Endtown FAQ for known colony names: http://tsoj.manga.org/endtown/endtown_faq.html#aboutendtownThe only one on the list is New Persia. So, Deep City is in deep…
@dwandelt The story/plot aim is as if by an archer I’d say a scene jump’s not a permanent departure And Jacob’s foul movement might be running Deep We will see H&W again … plus that creep =|====/ Level Head
If Mallard is running off that quickly, something is definitely up. Is it Jackrabbit, or something else? He seems a little too worried for it to be just Jackrabbit. It’s got to be something about this Deep City, and this guy Blake calling from it. I could be wrong, though.
Trouble always hits at THE most inconvenient time!4 AM sure qualifies as inconvenient. I bet Professor Mallard won’t get to go back to bed, now he’ll be in for a LLLLLOOOONNNGG day!
A change of pace, a change of venue, but why on a Friday? …because our illustrious narrator and illustrator has a slight streak of sadism and a wide love of cliffhangers. :)
Aaron I love the little big man that you have made Jacob J. Jackrabbit into. He kind of reminds me of Rush Limbaugh or some other similar political commentator, not that I have anything against Republicans. It seems to me that Wally and Holly will be two love sick kids who just can’t seem to get a break; but I could be wrong. I am looking forward to see what you have in store for us. Keep up the great work!!!

Abrupt change of venue. Is this also going to be an abrupt change of plotline?

Deep City sounds like might be at the bottom of an ocean. It also sounds like it might be in deep $#!+y.
