This is very good. Talking it out with an understanding, sympathetic person, even if she doesn’t understand she will listen. He really needs that. Sometimes bad things build up into a problem that you cannot discuss. I know. But it never gets better that way. So I greatly approve of your approach, Aaron. You have a good clutch on his personality… Well of course, you created him. Thanks.Blessed Be

One problem may be that there were children inside at the time it was distroyed. seven seconds doesn’t give much time for evacuation. OH that hurts to think of it. Blessed BE.

The details being filched from Wally’s brain Are relatively non-traumatic bits Though war, this is surprisingly mundane For his reaction, “trauma” hardly fits It doesn’t seem, from manner, voice or word That Wally is near losing his control Instead, he acts the tour-guide absurd And not like one who’s fighting for his soul It’s safer, clearly, than when he was there We have the scenes of war, but not the sound But images can be enough to scare And Wally’s lost — will this trip be profound? =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum And don’t forget to vote for both For Ursa Major awards!

An engineer with a gun. That part fits really well. The problem lies in what that gun had been pointed at…

Is an engineer with independent thought any different from a soldier obeying orders? I’d like to at least think so.

So Wally was a “SeaBee” of sorts as an engineer.

    Engineers have distinct characteristics.

Why haven’t we seen those the past several months?

    Is it due to mutating?

Glad to see Aaron paralleling the US military correctly.Chances are Wally was a junior officer. In the US, most officers come from either the military academies or college ROTC programs and by a large margin most of those are engineering majors.

The dittos can probably recover Petey’s old memories. That may be how we will find out what his relationship is to Flask.

Hmmm……can you spell “Blackwater”? And others. Civilian contractor, not quite military……conducting military operations……with questionable tactics….and morality. Not saying Blackwater was anything like Apex, but………..

Possibly a forward projection of that type of situation (which is not new). Aaron Marx is a dangerous character to unleash in this universe, considering what he can do, but Mr. Neathery (to distinguish) has shown what serious storylines can be done with the character before, always tinged with that bid of unpredictiability in his personality that allows him to either do what he does, or survive what he goes through (or both).

Here, I’m imagining Wally talking through more and more gritted teeth, dreading what’s coming. The sotto voce monotone does speak volumes about his thoughts on the whole thing.

Question.. if they’re actually walking, they would be hopefully walking in circles because they’re still on the ship. Yes, it’s a wide area, but you can’t walk too far before going overboard. I think Sparkplug was just standing still while the Ditto Cinema™ was just unfolding around him.

Engineer, huh? Well that explains the way Wally “MacGyver’d” that slingshot out of poles and a fire hydrant.

Cool. Follow the truck in panels 1 through 3. It looks like the truck went right through Wally and Holly. As has been stated, they’re physically safe enough here.

??But it looks like their shadows are on the front of the truck in panel 2. They’re there, but they’re not?

There is a flyer on top of the truck in panel three. It must be an early version of the Personal Transporter.

Jenner, I second your comment about attention to detail.

Apex paid him to build the school, and Apex demolished it? Call that job satisfaction? because I don’t.
